Leica photographer Ralph Gibson gave a lecture at Leica Gallery Wetzlar about his latest photo project "Mono"
On Friday, the 16th January 2015, the day of his 76th birthday, Leica invited Ralph Gibson to speak in front of 150 guests about his current project and to view his new photo exhibition "Mono" in addition to a photo book signing with the photographer.
In his 60-minute long lecture, Ralph spoke about his wealth of experience using Leica’s. For decades he was convinced that digital photography would never compare to analogue photography, but in 2013 he started to use the Leica M Monochrom for digital photography and a few months later he created the series "Mono".
After the lecture, he answered numerous questions from visitors and signed photo books.
The photo project "Mono", with impressive black and white photography, is on show until the end of March 2015 at Leica Gallery Wetzlar. The gallery is open from Monday to Friday from 10.00 to 20.00 and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.00 to 18.00.
